Birth Mother Assistance

Birth mothers in many states receive financial assistance depending on the state they live in. In Tennessee the birth mother can receive assistance for her basic living expenses for the last tri-mester (7-9 months of pregnancy) and the month following delivery. This only covers her basic living expenses and by law that is all she can receive. Depending on the laws in your state, you may need to have proper paperwork but should not have to file a lawsuit unless there are certain legal conditions. Helping Kids Cope wants to help these birth parents excel in future endeavors.
